How to Apply for a Scholarship
Step 1: Apply for Admission
To be eligible for a scholarship, you must first apply and be admitted into a degree program at IHED Business School. Once admitted, you are automatically considered for the scholarship.
Step 2: Submit Required Documents
As part of your application, you must provide scanned color-original or certified copies of the following:
Academic transcript
Completion certificate
Proof of English proficiency
Passport biometric page
(If required) Curriculum Vitae (CV) / Resume and letters of work experience
Motivation Letter
Reference
Step 3: Submit Application via Email
If you cannot apply online, you may submit a paper-based application:
Email your completed application form and required documents to admissions@ihed.swiss.
Once received, our admissions team will review your application and notify you and your sponsor/parents via email.

Start your scholarship search early
Identify which scholarships fit your field of study
Maintain a strong academic record (high GPA)
Participate in extracurricular & leadership activities
Build a compelling student resume
Beyond GPA: Other Ways to Boost Your Scholarship Chances
Develop Leadership Skills – Join student organizations, tutor, mentor, or participate in sports
Engage in Extracurricular Activities – Volunteer and contribute to community service projects
Find a Mentor – A mentor can provide guidance and a strong recommendation letter
Apply to Multiple Scholarships – Don’t just aim for full-ride scholarships; smaller grants can add up
Eligibility Criteria
Must be enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or postgraduate degree program
Or
Must be enrolled in an Executive Bachelor, Executive Master, or Executive Doctorate degree program
Or
Must be enrolled in undergraduate, graduate, or postgraduate degree diplomas, and Executive Certificates through VAE Method for professionally working people
Must be a full-time student (minimum 40 units per semester)
Maintain continuous full-time enrollment
Meet GPA requirements (minimum Distinction Average for most programs)
Cannot hold multiple scholarships at the same time

Scholarship Benefits
Award Amount: Minimum CHF 5,000 ~ Maximum CHF 50,000
Grants are deducted in two installments:
• After Semester 1 & Semester 2, or
• After Semester 2 & Semester 3
FAQs: What GPA Do You Need for a Full Scholarship?
There is no single “magic GPA” for a full-ride scholarship. However, a higher GPA increases your chances. Most scholarships have a minimum GPA requirement to narrow down applicants.
